Toby Keith, Brad Paisley Head New Chester County Music Festival

Major stars have signed on to perform at the first ever Country Spirit USA festival in Chester County.

Toby Keith and Brad Paisley will headline the field of artists at the upcoming event, to be held at the Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show Grounds.

The three day festival will also include Alabama, which will headline the opening night on Friday, Aug. 24.

Keith will perform on Saturday, Aug. 25 and the show will be closed out by Paisley on Sunday the 26th.

The event is organized by the minds behind Country Summer, Northern California’s biggest country music festival, which is now in its fifth year.

"It’s exciting to expand our portfolio to the East Coast,” Alan Jacoby, executive producer with Impact Entertainment, which created the project. "Our goal is to create the Mid-Atlantic region’s foremost annual country music festival."

Organizers expect thousands to come out to the 33-acre grounds for the event. They said the festival's capacity will be about 15,000 per day.

A total of 20 artists will perform at the festival on two stages. Only the headliners have been announced thus far, but a complete set list is forthcoming on March 28.
