Two Alarm Fire Strikes Phoenixville Apartment

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Units from several nearby municipalities responded to a fire in Phoenixville on Monday afternoon.

The blaze was first reported at around 3 p.m. near Morgan and Gay Streets in an apartment building.

Emergency crews urged motorists and residents to pull over or avoid the area to give crews room to operate.

Responders from Phoenixville, the East Whiteland Fire Company and Friendship Ambulance of Royersford were on the scene.

It's unclear at this time how the blaze started or if there are any injuries.
