48 new Americans from the area participated in a naturalization ceremony at Valley Forge National Park.

VALLEY FORGE, PA -- 48 new Americans from the area participated in a naturalization ceremony at Valley Forge National Park on Thursday.
The event was hosted by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Naturalized citizens at the ceremony came from throughout the Philadelphia region.

The ceremony began with dramatic music and the emblematic words of Emma Lazarus:
"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, yearning to breathe free.."
