'Veterans Day Project' Launched In Chester County
Local U.S. Congressman Ryan Costello is working to share stories of veterans throughout his district.
Local U.S. Congressman Ryan Costello (R, PA-6) is working to share stories of veterans throughout his district.
Last week he announced the launch of his Veterans Day Appreciation Project, an opportunity to recognize veterans in Pennsylvania’s Sixth Congressional District for their service to the nation.
Residents of the district will have the opportunity to thank a veteran that is near and dear to their heart by submitting their story and photograph to the Congressman’s Washington, D.C. Office.

The stories and photographs of local heroes will be featured on the Congressman’s website and could be selected to be posted on the Congressman’s social media accounts. In addition to submissions from family and friends, the Congressman encourages veterans to submit their personal stories from their time of service.
“Next week, we will all take a moment to thank the men and women who put their lives on the line in defense of this great nation. Throughout November, I’d like to help honor your favorite veteran,” Costello said in a statement. “We can never do enough to thank our veterans for their selfless service, and the PA-06 Veterans Day Appreciation Project is just a small way that my office can thank local heroes.”
