VIDEO: Phoenixville Boys Basketball Hosts Players With Special Needs

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- The Phoenixville boys basketball team recently put a lot of smiles on a lot of faces.

The Phantoms hosted players from Upward, a local sports organization for children with special needs.

The two teams played a friendly game against each other. When Upward players ran out on to the court, they passed through a tunnel of Phantoms players who high-fived them.

“It was a great opportunity for all members of our community to encourage each other through sports and camaraderie,” the school district said.
