Volunteers Needed To Build The Firebird

The days are ticking away leading up to the date the Firebird will burn.

Pallets were hauled up to Friendship Field for initial placement on October 31 and November 1.

Volunteers are now sought for additional hauling the next two weekends, and especially for the official build, on November 21 and 22.

The building will begin at 10 a.m.

A Facebook event for volunteers to coordinate has been established here.

“The success of this adventure rest on the support from the community,” organizers said.
