The Borough will be planting 25 trees on the morning of Saturday, November 18th in celebration of Arbor Day. The trees were purchased through a grant from the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society in conjunction with their TreeVitalize program and Plant One Million campaign. Trees will be planted along streets in the Borough and in Reeves Park.
The volunteer group will meet at Reeves Park at 9 am where several trees will planted as a demonstration. Then the group will split up and plant the other 19 trees.
This is a great way for residents and families to enjoy the outdoors and give back to the community. If you are interested in volunteering please contact the Phoenixville Tree Advisory Commission at phxville.tac@gmail.com.

Trees provide many benefits to Borough residents, and the TAC is optimistic about future planting projects. Phoenixville residents who think managing and maintaining the urban forest in the Borough is important should contact their council person and let them know they would like to have additional public trees planted in their wards.
