Wall Partially Collapses In Downtown Phoenixville

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The stucco wall of a building partially collapsed amidst heavy winds at a downtown winery overnight Monday, leading to a closure of Gay Street.

The incident occurred at around midnight at Black Walnut Winery on the 200 block of Bridge Street, near the intersection with Gay Street.

According to the Phoenixville Fire Department, a section of the stucco wall covering "collapsed" onto the sidewalk and spilled into the roadway.

Crews are on the scene clearing the roadway and inspecting the building for any further damage.

No injuries were reported.
