One grocery chain with locations in Bucks and Montgomery counties has adopted a temporary policy that prohibits the sale of eggs to any customer younger than 18.
Redner’s Market, which has locations in Levittown, Bensalem, Warrington and North Wales, has adopted the chain-wide policy through Sunday.

The goal is to prevent “egging,” a form of vandalism that commonly occurs this time of year.
Signs asking for ID for egg purchases are posted at all 44 Redner’s locations, the Reading Eagle reported.
