WANTED: Zombies In Phoenixville

Do you have what it takes to become a part of the legion of the undead?

Zombie volunteers are being sought in Phoenixville for the upcoming Zombie Run.

The event will take place on the Schuylkill River Trail and through downtown Phoenixville on Saturday, November 7.

There are three different events that runners - and zombie volunteers - may participate in. They may participate in one, two, or all three of the events below:

• 1K Fun Run & Walk - Enjoy a 1K walk for fitness / fun.
  
• Traditional 5K - Enjoy a regular 5K for fitness / fun.
  
• “Survivor’s Run” 5K - Survive a dash for your life
  

Zombies will chase runners throughout the course, attempting to capture flags from a belt which is given to each runner at the start.

It’s free to volunteer and organizers will provide all of the makeup. Volunteers are also to sign up for a discounted price on the 2015 t-shirt.

Food vendors for the event include Uncle B’s BBQ Smoke Shack and La Tierra Cafe.
