West Pikeland Appoints New Township Manager

West Pikeland has named their new township manager: James Wendelglass.

WEST PIKELAND, PA -- West Pikeland has named James Wendelglass as the Township Manager, they announced Tuesday.

Wendelglass has 12 years of experience as a Chester County Township manager, West Pikeland's Board of Supervisors noted.

This includes overseeing 20 employees and an annual budget of $6 million.

Wendelglass has been responsible for budgeting, construction of new buildings, open space plannings, maintenance and salt storage, and grant management.

He has also served as the Chair of the Planning Commission and the Environmental Advisory Council.

He is a graduate of Syracuse University and the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He resides in West Vincent with his wife Sharon.
