Westside Apartments And Shopping To Hold Grand Opening

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The new Westside Apartments and Shopping complex, minutes from downtown Phoenixville, will hold a grand opening Thursday.

The complex, located on 411 Schuylkill Road, features 171 apartment units starting at $1,199 a month and several shopping opportunities, including a Dunkin Donuts, Wayback Burger, Pet Valu, Phoenix Cleaners, and Tre Nail Bar.

The complex also includes a pool, fitness center, clubhouse, yoga room, and more. The complex is pet-friendly.

The developer is Phoenixville's Bill Andersen, president of the Longview Property Group. Andersen and his wife, Liz, worked together helped to launch the Phoenixville Farmers Market, Charlestown Farm, and Broadwater Farm

Longview organizers said that they "prefer" to target revitalization projects on old industrial sites, such as what previously existed on the Westside property at 1107 Rapps Dam Road.
