The Phoenixville Area School District is considering changing the school start time, and they want community input.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Phoenixville Area School District is considering changing the school start time, and they want community input.
The Board of School Directors plans to vote on the issue in Jan. 19. The vote will impact the 2019-20 school year.

- Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 -- 6:30 p.m. -- HS Cafeteria
- Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 -- 6:30 p.m. -- Barkley Cafeteria
- Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019 -- 6:30 p.m. -- MS Cafeteria
The Board commissioned an advisory group to study adolescent sleep and school start time earlier this year. The group includes students, parents, teachers, members of the Phoenixville community, and other administrators.
