Where To Get A Flu Shot For Free Near Phoenixville

With flu season fast approaching, the Chester County Health Department offers free flu shots to county residents on an appointment basis.

The health department is located on 601 Westtown Rd #290 in West Chester.

In 2014, a free one week clinic was held in late October. An announcement on the possibility of this year’s clinic has not yet been made.

For residents of nearby Montgomery County, the following locations offer free flu shots:

• October 6, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Montgomery County - Norristown Library, 1001 Powell Street, Norristown
• October 10, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Montgomery County Community College, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell (College Hall - Park in Lot 1, Morris Rd Lot; access building at lower level entrance)
• October 17, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Abington Junior High School, 2056 Susquehanna Road, Abington
• October 22, 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Hope Community Church, 2732 North Charlotte Street, Gilbertsville
• October 27, 3:30pm to 6:30 p.m.: Upper Merion Township Building, 175 West Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia
