You Better Run! Phoenixville's Zombie Run and Fun Day is Saturday

Despite some ominous weather in the forecast, the Zombie Day will go on.

Phoenixville’s Zombie Run and Fun Day is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1.

The Zombie Run includes a traditional 5K; a 1K Fun Run/Walk; and two “Survivor’s Run” 5Ks.

The free Fun Day activities include a rock wall, moon bounce and kids crafts.

Also present with information tables and activities will be

  • Phoenixville Area Community Services;
  • The Colonial Theatre;
  • Chester County Council, Boy Scouts of America;
  • Geek Boy Press;
  • Pottstown Roller Derby Rockstars;
  • Great Valley Nature Center;
  • Snyder Family Chiropractic;
  • UFC Gym;
  • Phoenixville Fire Department;
  • Phoenixville Office of Emergency Management;
  • Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

Vendors were to be set up on the corner of Bridge and Main streets, but organizers have moved things indoors, to 235 Bridge St. “Some of the climate-contained vendors will still be along Main Street, near the start of the race,” organizers wrote on the event’s Facebook page.

Among the food vendors participating are The Sunflower Truck Stop, La Tierra Cafe and The Tot Cart.
