Zombie Run, Wedding Walk Highlight Phoenixville Weekend Events

Two events could not be more different.

The Zombie Run and the Wedding Walk highlight this weekend’s activities in Phoenixville.

The Zombie Run will take place on Saturday, November 7, in downtown Phoenixville. Festivities start on Bridge and Main Streets. Per the website:

The Phoenixville Zombie Run and Fun Day features:

1K Fun Run & Walk - Enjoy a 1K walk for fitness / fun.

Traditional 5K - Enjoy a regular 5K for fitness / fun.

“Survivor’s Run” 5K - Survive a dash for your life as Zombies try to capture flags from a belt that we give you! Fun Day Activities, include:

Food Vendors

Kids’ Crafts (make and take)

Face Painting

Kids’ Games & Activities

Local Community Organizations and Vendors

The Wedding Walk, meanwhile, takes place on Friday night:

All of the excitement will unfold from 6–9 p.m. at the LEO Design Gallery at 4 Gay Street in Phoenixville, where you can peruse special offerings, including one-night-only discounts, while enjoying live music, cocktails and sweet treats throughout the night. You’ll also be able to make DIY flower crowns and get a Wedding Walk card, which will provide you with a number of great discounts at local wedding-related shops. At 8:45 p.m., a special drawing will award one lucky couple with a wedding getaway (must be present to win).
