$1 Million Contract Awarded to Upgrade Intersections Near PRHS
Lane Construction Corp. was low bidder.
Traffic lights and lane improvements will be added to two intersections near now that a $1 million contract has been awarded to Lane Construction Corp. of Bridgeville.
The Pine-Richland School Board voted unanimously last week to award the bid.
Traffic lights will be added in two spots: the school's entrance on Warrendale Road and at the three-way stop at Babcock Boulevard and Warrendale Road.

The road improvements are part of the overall project to renovate and enlarge the high school at 700 Warrendale Road to alleviate crowding.
A traffic signal and a right-turn lane will be installed at the high school's entrance on Warrendale Road.

Another light will be installed where Warrendale Road intersects Babcock Boulevard. A right-turn lane will be added on southbound Babcock at that intersection.
