will host the Biannual Walk-A-Thon to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Pittsburgh. This year’s walk takes place at Ohio Township Municipal Park. Eden students, families, faculty and members of the community participate, making this a community wide event.
The funds raised are used for need-based scholarships and facility improvements. In addition, ECA donates 10% of the money raised to the Ronald McDonald House of Pittsburgh, providing a home away from home for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment in local hospitals.
Registration begins on race day at 8:30 a.m. with the 5K race beginning at 9 a.m. and the 1 mile fun run beginning at 10 a.m. Student/Parent registration begins at 12:15 p.m. and the Walk starts at 1 p.m.
