Pianist Ken Medema @ Geneva College

Musician and composer Ken Medema comes to Geneva College. The pianist will perform at 10 a.m. during Chapel, Geneva's weekly devotional time, in the Metheny Fieldhouse.

Although blind from birth, Medema started playing the piano at the age of five. It quickly became a passion leading him through school and eventually to performing. Medema mixes his musical talents with a bit of comedy to drive home his messages and songs. During performances, Medema tests what he calls his "musical reflexes" by calling for three notes from the audience and then turning those three notes into an improvised song.

Medema performs over 200 concerts a year at venues such as universities, elementary schools, high schools, corporate conferences and conventions, and numerous church organizations. Medema has also been featured on televised shows such as the Hour of Power and 30 Good Minutes.
