"Infectious Diseases and Management Strategies" will be the focus of a Health Executive Institute seminar on May 4 at Seminar speakers are registered nurses Christine Murphy, Judi Sedivy and Cynthia Thomas of the <a href="http://www.health.state.pa.us/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Pennsylvania Department of Health.</a>  Their topics will include overviews of hepatitis, tuberculosis and norovirus.  Murphy is a nurse consultant for chronic and communicable diseases. Sedivy is an epidemiology research associate and Thomas is a communicable disease consultant.  The seminar begins at 8 a.m. with registration at The Village at St. Barnabas, 5850 Meridian Road in Gibsonia/Richland Township. It lasts from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. HEI seminars, arranged by , are submitted to the <a href="http://www.portal.state.pa.us/portal/server.pt/community/state_board_of_examiners_of_nursing_home_administrators/12514" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators</a> and the <a href="http://www.dpw.state.pa.us/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Department of Welfare</a> for four continuing education credits.  HEI is sponsored by <a href="http://www.curahospitality.com/about/index.html" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Cura Hospitality</a>, a dining services and hospitality provider.
