Food vendors will be in the park to satisfy visitors' gastonomical desires. For those entertained by food competitions, watermelon-eating and pie-eating contests will be emceed by state Rep. Mike Turzai at 6 and 7:30 p.m. respectively.
If it's animals you love, a performance of the furry and feathered kind is scheduled for 5 p.m. with Wild World of Animals on Stage.
Looking for more of a hands-on experience? The Barnyard Petting Zoo and pony rides will be available from 5 to 8 p.m.
Not looking forward to climbing aboard a pony? Then you might want to check out the Rainbow Express Train Rides.

Pine Community Day festivities start at 4:30 p.m. at at 100 Pine Park Drive in Wexford. There are two ways to get into the park -- from Pearce Mill Road and from the Red Belt/Warrendale Road. Access to Pearce Mill Road from Route 910 has been closed because of roadwork. A detour takes motorists to Babcock Boulevard, where they are directed to head north, then west on the Red Belt/Warrendale Road. One park entrance is on the Red Belt, close to Pine Community Center. Motorists can also turn onto the northern end of Pearce Mill Road from the Red Belt to get to a park entrance.
