PR School Board to Choose Replacement for Seat Vacated by Director Richard Herko

Pine-Richland School Board will meet in a special session tonight to choose  a replacement for , who resigned because he is relocating.

Board members will interview the candidates and then vote on whom will fill the Region 1 seat that represents part of Pine Township until the term expires in 2013.

Tonight's special meeting at 7 p.m. is open to the public at the district's 

The last time board members replaced a fellow director was in 2011 when resigned.  until the general election in November, when for the seat. 

Region 1 encompasses Pine Voting Districts 1,4,5,7 and 8.
