Perry Highway Lutheran Church of
Wexford is having a 5 K / 1 mile race on Saturday, May 10, 2014, starting at 6
pm, followed by a campfire and cookout
on the church grounds. The race
course is 3.16 miles, to remind us of one of the most succinct quotes in the Bible: “And God so loved the world that he gave his
only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” The 5K is a timed event, and both races start and finish at the church. Medals will be given to age group
winners. Race entry prices are $25 per
person for the 5K, $15 for the one mile race;
all entrants will receive a tshirt if registered before race day. There is special discount pricing for
families. Fees increase to $30 for 5K/$20 for 1 mile on
