Massage Envy Richland-Gibsonia Raises Thousands For Arthritis Foundation
Twelve local Massage Envy clinics came together last month to raise over $6k to support Arthritis research nationwide.

On September 16, Massage Envy locations nationwide hosted the 5th annual Healing Hands for Arthritis® event, raising money to champion the Arthritis Foundation’s efforts to conquer arthritis through life-changing information, advocacy, science and community. In the greater Pittsburgh area (including Erie and Morgantown, WV), 100 therapists from the 12 clinics throughout the region gave 446 massages and raised $6,475 for The Arthritis Foundation.
Arthritis is the leading cause of disability in America, affecting one in five adults and more than 300,000 children. Massage therapy has proved to help alleviate the pain and swelling caused by arthritis, improving flexibility and circulation and reducing stress and anxiety.
