19 Pittsburgh Area Seniors Win National Merit Scholarships

PITTSBURGH, PA - Nineteen graduating southwestern Pennsylvania high school seniors are among more than 3,200 winners of National Merit Scholarships financed by colleges and universities across the country.
The awards provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution financing the scholarship. This year, 182 higher education institutions are underwriting the program.
