Abducted Pittsburgh Toddler Found Safe In Illinois

A three-year-old girl taken from her grandmother's home was located in Chicago.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A 3-year-old Penn Hills girl reported to have been abducted from her grandmother's home on Tuesday afternoon was found safe in Illinois on Wednesday.

The girl was taken by her biological mother, who does not have custody of the child, according to police. Charges are pending against the mother, Brandi Bailey, 33, of Penn Hills, KDKA-TV reported.

The grandmother reported the girl missing to police on Wednesday. Authorities tracked Bailey down by pinging her cell phone.
