Allegheny County Coronavirus Case Numbers Decline Slightly
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers in Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department on Friday reported three new deaths. The county death toll now stands at 468.
The county reported 484 new cases, down from 609 on Thursday and the record-setting 620 reported Wednesday. There have been 22,527 cases since the outbreak began in March.
There have been 1,739 hospitalizations in the county during the outbreak.

With 6,908 cases in Westmoreland County, 3,493 in Washington County, 3,313 in Butler County and 3,102 in Beaver County, that brings the total number of cased to 39,353 when Allegheny County numbers are included.
According to the state Department of Health, there have been 871 deaths in the region from the virus: Four hundred and sixty-eight in Allegheny County, 150 in Westmoreland County, 145 in Beaver County, 56 in Washington County and 52 in Butler County.
