Allegheny County Coronavirus Surge Continues
Allegheny County again tops triple digits in the number of new coronavirus cases.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department on Tuesday reported one new coronavirus deaths. The county death toll remains at 405.
The county reported 103 new cases. The total number of cases in the county during the outbreak is 14,277.
There have been 1,352 hospitalizations in the county during the outbreak.

With 3,550 cases in Westmoreland County, 2,152 in Beaver County, 1,675 in Washington County and 1,418 in Butler County, that brings the total number of cases in the five-county region to 23,072 when Allegheny County numbers are included.
According to the state Department of Health, there have been 673 deaths in the region from the virus: Four hundred and six in Allegheny County, 137 in Beaver County, 71 in Westmoreland County, 32 in Washington County and 27 in Butler County.
