Allegheny County Health Department Closes Pittsburgh Pizzeria
The closure comes after the pizza place failed to correct many health violations.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered Potenza Pizza and Pasta on Centre Avenue closed after the pizzeria failed to address numerous violations during an inspection last month.
That inspection found mouse droppings behind the prep tables, behind the mixer, in the storage soda room, behind an upright freezer , throughout the basement and in the dish washing area.
Additionally, dozens of house flies were found in the kitchen and prep areas. Inspectors found front and back doors were open without a screen, letting the pests into the eatery.
