Allegheny County Reports Dozens Of New Coronavirus Deaths
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department on Wednesday reported 35 new coronavirus deaths. The total since the outbreak began is 1,564.
There were 239 new and confirmed probable coronavirus cases. The total number number during the outbreak is now 72,177.
There have been 4,621 hospitalizations during the outbreak.

With 25,432 cases in Westmoreland County,13,215 in Butler County, 13,082 in Washington County and 11,389 in Beaver County, that brings the total number of cases to 135,195 when Allegheny County numbers are included.
According to the state Department of Health, there have been 3,123 deaths in the region from the virus: One thousand, five hundred and sixty four in Allegheny County, 642 in Westmoreland County, 346 in Butler County, 331 in Beaver County and 240 in Washington County.
