Allegheny County Reports Hundreds Of New Coronavirus Cases
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department on Monday reported one new coronavirus death. The total since the outbreak began is 1,454.
There were 402 new and confirmed probable coronavirus cases over the weekend. The total number number during the outbreak is now 69,537.
There have been 4,300 hospitalizations during the outbreak.

With 24,776 cases in Westmoreland County, 12,773 in Butler County, 12,596 in Washington County and 11,019 in Beaver County, that brings the total number of cases to 130,521 when Allegheny County numbers are included.
According to the state Department of Health, there have been 2,937 deaths in the region from the virus: One thousand, four hundred and fifty-four in Allegheny County, 606 in Westmoreland County, 328 in Butler County, 323 in Beaver County and 226 in Washington County.
