Allegheny County Sees Slight Dip In New Coronavirus Cases, Deaths
Here are the latest coronavirus case numbers for Allegheny County and southwestern Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department on Wednesday reported four new coronavirus deaths, down from the 20 reported Wednesday. The total since the outbreak began is 1,249.
There were 425 new and confirmed probable coronavirus cases, down from 463 on Wednesday. The total number number during the outbreak is now 66,002.
The 282 confirmed cases came from 1,783 tests - a positivity rate of 15 percent.

There have been 3,849 hospitalizations during the outbreak.
With 23,624 cases in Westmoreland County, 11,948 in Butler County, 11,667 in Washington County and 10,426 in Beaver County, that brings the total number of cases to 123,687 when Allegheny County numbers are included.

According to the state Department of Health, there have been 2,574 deaths in the region from the virus: One thousand, two hundred and forty-nine in Allegheny County, 553 in Westmoreland County, 297 each in Beaver and Butler counties and 178 in Washington County.
