A May 14 inspection revealed a dead and decomposing rat in the basement.

Next to the dish machine
To the left of the rear exterior door
In the box of rags on the wire shelf near the rear exterior door
On the shelf above the icing station
Under the 3-compartment sink
On the tabletop next to the mixer to the right of the grease trap
Behind the prep tables near the kitchen entrance
Under the rows of coolers
On the trays and on top of the boxes of sprinkles
Behind the rear counter in the customer area to the right of the kitchen entrance
In the wall cubby to the right of the upright cooler in the customer area
Under the small stand across from the upright cooler in the customer area
Around the upright cooler in the customer area
On the shelves behind the display cooler where pastry boxes are being stored
On the pastry boxes in the customer area
Under the bread slicer
In the crumb tray of the bread slicer
Under the register counter
On the paper to-go bags stored under the register counter
To the right of the front door when entering the facility
Behind the hot case counter and the pastry display counter along the right wall
In the employee restroom around the toilet
In the storage area under the stairs off the employee restroom
In the side closet where miscellaneous items are stored in the customer area
On the basement stairs
On the floor at the bottom of the basement stairs
A restaurant with a consumer alert placard is allowed to operate for a temporary period not exceeding 10 days. Another inspection is conducted either prior to the expiration of the temporary period upon request of the eatery owner or on the tenth day.
