PITTSBURGH, PA — If you're going to a Memorial Day picnic this weekend, it's best to bring an umbrella to protect you, your hot dog and your potato salad.

The National Weather Service forecast says a soggy weekend is in store.

The rain begins overnight on Friday, with chances of thunderstorms as well. Wind gusts of up to 25 mph are possible, with rainfall amounts totaling as much as a half of an inch.

The chance of precipitation is 90 percent.

After Friday night, it's going to get really wet.

What are the chances of that happening? According to the weather service, 90 percent.

Showers and storms also are expected on Saturday night. The chance of precipitation drops to a relatively modest 80 percent.

Turning to Sunday, there's a 50 percent chance of showers and storms. On Memorial Day, there's a 60 percent chances of showers and storms.
