PITTSBURGH, PA — A longtime dining experience in Pittsburgh no longer is available to enjoy.
The last McCormick & Schmick's seafood and steak in the city in the city has closed. It was located Downtown in Piatt Place and had been a fixture there since 2008.
The restaurant is listed as permanently closed on Yelp. On the restaurant website, the only remaining McCormick & Schmick's in Pennsylvania is in Philadelphia.
A McCormick & Schick's eatery in The Waterfront in Homestead closed during the COVID-19 pandemic and never reopened. It eventually was demolished and the location is a part of a massive new apartment complex.
Another McCormick & Schmick's location in SouthSide Works closed five years ago.
The nearest M&S locations to Pittsburgh now are in Philadelphia, Arlington, Virginia, and Cincinnati.
The restaurant chain is owned by Landry's, whose Pittsburgh eatery brands include Del Frisco's, Morton's, Bill's Burger Bar, the Gandy Dancer and the Grand Concourse.
