PITTSBURGH, PA — Get ready for more heavy weather in Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania.
The National Weather Service says showers and storms are on the way Tuesday due to a slow-moving air mass that likely will keep the region damp for days.
The forecast comes after a swath of tornadoes struck the area on Saturday. According to the weather service, six tornadoes occurred on June 6.
No tornadoes are expected today, but the weather service says heavy rains are possible. Showers and storms also are possible Wednesday through Friday.
Preliminary data Saturday's tornadoes was made available Monday, with more information expected to be released on Tuesday.

No deaths or injuries were reported from the twisters.
