PITTSBURGH, PA — What is a silent disco, you ask? Patch is about to tell you. It's coming to town.
Pickle! At the Silent Disco will be held at the Plaza at North Shore during Picklesburgh's expanded presence next month.
At the disco, guests can pick their own channel on their headphones and dance away to different genres of music of their choosing.
The silent disco will be held at SugarBird in the plaza. There will be two sessions: one from 7:30-9:30 p.m. and the other will be from 10 p.m.-midnight.
The event will be part of an expanded Picklesburgh, a nationally-award winning festival celebrating Pittsburgh and all things pickles. It will be held July 16-19.
Picklesburgh is coming back for an 11th year and its footprint will be larger.
The festival will feature the expanded footprint from last year’s 10th anniversary—two Sister Bridges (Clemente and Warhol), Allegheny Landing, the recently completed Allegheny Riverfront Park, Fort Duquesne Boulevard (westbound), PPG Plaza, and Sixth Street.
There also will be two major additions: the newly renovated Market Square and Arts Landing, the Cultural District’s newest and largest outdoor civic space.
