PITTSBURGH, PA — A deadly shooting occurred Wednesday evening near a playgound in Homestead.
At 6:24 p.m., Allegheny County 911 was notified of shots fired near McLean Playground located at 1200 Sarah Street.
First responders arrived on the scene and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary information indicated that multiple people fled from the scene following the shooting.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has yet to identify the victim.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information concerning the shooting is asked to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
