PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pennsylvania Lottery has announced that two winning tickets for the July 25 Powerball drawing were sold in Western Pennsylvania.
The total value of the tickets is $1.2 million, lottery officials said.
A Powerball ticket sold in Fayette County is delivering a prize of $1 million to a lucky player. The ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, 3-4-24-36-47, but not the red Powerball 17, to win $1 million.
The ticket was sold at the Walmrt on Walmart Drive in South Union Township. The retailer will receive $5,000 for selling the winning
Additionally, a Powerball with Power Play winning ticket worth $200,000 was sold in Allegheny County. The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn, 3-4-24-36-47, and the red Powerball 17, to win $200,000,.
Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth $50,000. The Power Play multiplier drawn was four. Thompson Run Market on Thompson Run Road in Road, will receive $500 for selling the winning ticket.
Ross Township, will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated.
Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
