PITTSBURGH, PA — After years of serving up delicious breakfast and lunch dishes in the Strip District, Cafe Raymond is expanding into the suburbs.
The new restaurant will be located at 4131 Brownsville Road in Brentwood near Brentwood Town Square, the Pittsburgh Business Times reported.
The second Cafe Raymond will take over the space formerly occupied by the Crack'd Egg, which closed in March. That eatery gained local notoriety during the COVID-19 pandemic for legally challenging state coronavirus safety restrictions placed on restaurants.
The Business Times reported the new Cafe Raymond is expected to open later in the year. An opening date is expected to be announced soon.
