McKEES ROCKS, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for Rocks Express, on Frederick Street in McKees Rocks, for a pair of high-risk health code violations.
During an inspection, bags of chips were found with rodent chew marks with mouse droppings nearby. Those bags were discarded.
A dead mouse was found on a glue board under a three-bowl sink and another one was discovered on a set of steps in the basement, where mouse droppings were found.
Additionally, gaps were found at the bottom of the front door and sides of the garage door. Both were larges enough for rodents to gain entry.
A window also was not protected against pest entry.
