PITTSBURGH, PA — Police are investigating following a fatal shooting in the city's Homewood neighborhood on Tuesday evening.
Police were summoned to the 7200 block of Frankstown Avenue around 6:30 p.m. after two ShotSpotter alerts that indicated 20 rounds had been fired.
They found a woman on Forest Way, an alley behind Frankstown Avenue, who had been shot multiple times. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has yet to be identified.
No arrests have been made.
