"KLVN was built by our amazing community and the careful hands that crafted your drinks everyday," a message on the coffee shop's Instagram page stated.

"Thank you to the regulars who listened to us talk about our hobbies, growing babies, eyeless cats, music & poetry. Our hands shared something much greater than a cup of coffee."

It's unclear if KLVN's wholesale roasting operation will continue. KLVN also ships bags of coffee in Pennsylvania and to West Virginia, Ohio, New York, Delaware and Maryland.

According to the shop's website, "KLVN" is a refracted reference to Lord Kelvin, 19th century British mathematician and scientist of the scale of absolute temperature and the first law of thermodynamics.
