The news is encouraging. A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Riley's will occur Friday at 4 p.m.

The announcement was made on the bar's Facebook page.

Owner Joe Riley told KDKA-AM that the new Pour House will "honor the spirit of the original pub while introducing updated features."

The bar hopes to be open by St. Patrick's Day next March.
