PITTSBURGH, PA — One lucky woman is $1.1 million richer after stopping at Rivers Casino Tuesday night.
The casino announced via social media that the fortunate female was dealt a 7-card straight flush, unlocking the 100 percent Pai Gow Progressive.
According to Gambling911.com, the unidentified woman was dealt a seven-card straight flush of a king, queen, jack, 10, joker, 8 and 7 of clubs while also having a $5 Fortune Bonus with the joker. That added another $5,000 to the payout.
Two other players at the table each got a $500 "envy" payout from the Fortune Bonus.
Pai Gow Poker is a casino table game played with cards that combines elements of traditional Chinese Pai Gow with poker. It is different from regular poker because players primarily oppose the dealer rather than other players.
Fortune Pai Gow Poker adds an optional side wager based primarily on the strength of a seven-card hand.
