The traffic restrictions are necessary for bridge span, pier, and deck repairs.

The Homestead Grays Bridge is used daily by more than 40,000 motorists. Drivers should expect traffic delays in the area and are encouraged to allow extra time to reach their destinations.

Pugliano Construction of Plum is the primary construction contractor for the $902,594 project.

The Homestead Grays Bridge has a bridge condition rating of 5 (fair condition) on a 0-9 scale based on National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) established by the Federal Highway Administration.
