Restaurant Week was developed to bring customers to local establishments during what can be a slower time of year for the restaurant industry while giving people a reason to try something new.
"Throughout the process of planning Restaurant Week, we had the chance to visit each of the participating businesses," said Lizz Venanzi, McCandless community engagement manager.
"I was surprised by just how unique each one is, offering experiences and flavors that many people would travel downtown for, right here in McCandless. We hope Restaurant Week gives people a reason to discover what's already in their own backyard."
The event is supported through Main Streets Allegheny, with funding provided by the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County.
