Duquesne Light Company, striking union members reach tentative agreement on 5-year contract (wpxi.com) β Duquesne Light Company and IBEW Local 29 have reached a tentative five-year contract, potentially ending a strike involving about 1,000 workers picketing outside the Woods Run facility in Pittsburgh's Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood. The company says the deal balances worker safety with customer affordability and reliability, though operations won't fully return to normal until union members vote on ratification.
