"AMC routinely reviews the theaters in our circuit and makes decisions based on what will best strengthen the company going forward," AMC stated in a release. "We thank our Mount Lebanon 6 guests for their patronage and encourage them to continue enjoying the AMC experience at AMC South Hills Village 10."

The South Hills Village 10 is located about a mile from the Mt. Lebanon cinemas.

AMC said staff at the Mt. Lebanon theater can transfer to other area AMC locations, such as South Hills Village, The Waterfront in Homestead and Westmoreland Mall in Greensburg.
