PITTSBURGH, PA — A new gastropub has opened in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh.
The Drafting Room, an all-day restaurant and bar, now is operating on the first floor of the historic Fulton Building, which houses the Atterbury hotel.
The Drafting Room serves breakfast alongside coffee and espresso drinks in the morning before transitioning into a restaurant and bar at 11 a.m. The kitchen is open nightly until 11 p.m.
The menu includes shareable plates, takes on classic dishes, craft cocktails and a selection of local, domestic and international beer and wine.
Guests in the restaurant are able to dine beneath The Moment, a signature light installation within a restored rotunda and skylit atrium.
According to a release, The Drafting Room's interiors draw inspiration from architect Grosvenor Atterbury's workspace and his vision for the Fulton Building. Atterbury was hired to design the structure in 1901.
